MDA Senior Management Rap made it to Techcrunch

Congrats to MDA! Their rap made it to Techcrunch. WOOHOO!!!!!

In case you don’t know, Techcrunch (Note: Not Techcrush) is the 4th most popular blog on Technorati. Good job guys. Just like what MDA’s Director for Broadcast & Film Development Man Shu Sum sang in the rap:- “Singapore content, on an international stage”. Indeed….

So what’s next? US Billboard?

On a lighter note, decayonnet was being mentioned on yawningbread. Wow. :D

Life is fragile

Recent events reminded me that life is very fragile. You may be alive one moment, and gone the next. Just like what happen to the 5 dragon boat rower. Who would expect that race is their last. Well, that is life. You never know when you are next in queue.

Couple of weeks back, a colleague of mine fainted in office and was admitted into hospital. I heard that he has some acute bleeding in the brain due to cerebral arteriovenous malformation. As of now, he is still in hospital. Although his condition has slightly improved, he is still unable to talk. His family members created a facebook group to keep everyone updated on his progress and pray for his speedy recovery.

I don’t really know him personally. I only remember liaising with him once or twice a few years back on some work issue. I’ve seen him several times in office but never spoke to him. I wish he would get well soon.

Life is fragile, treasure every moment while you still can.

Sometimes, I’m worried that I might just die or went into coma suddenly without warning.
What will happen if that day comes? Will anyone setup a facebook group for me?
Who is going to update this blog for me?
Perhaps I should create a word document in my laptop with instructions on what to do if I suddenly die or went into coma. Things like my blog login ID and password so that someone can help me update everyone on what happened.

(Wah ciao. Going to die liao still think of blogging! Siao ah!)

MDA Senior Management Rap was inspired by KRS-One?

I don’t know who is KRS-One. But saw this video clip on one of the forum. I’m sure the chorus sound familiar to you. I bet that horrible rap is still repeating itself in your head.

Don’t worry. This video clip is by a professional rapper. Although I don’t really know how to enjoy rap music, but it sounds a lot better that the MDA rap. (I want to say that there can’t be anything worst than the MDA rap. But I’m always afraid that another civil service group will proof me wrong)

KRS-One – Step Into a World (Rapture’s Delight)

KRS-One:

Yes yes y’all, ya don’t stop, KRS-One, rock on!
Yes yes y’all, ya don’t stop, KRS-One, rock on!

MDA Senior Management:

Yes yes y’all, we don’t stop, get creative, can do, rock on!
Yes yes y’all, we don’t stop, get connected worldwide, rock on!

Interesting. MDA said “Get creative” in the rap. Now… How creative can they be?

Crazy Woman attaches 7 N95s on the car exterior

This is one of those things that normal people won’t be doing. Or rather, cannot afford to do.

Imagine, 7 N95 attached on the exterior of your car. Who got 7 N95 to begin with? Even if you have 7 N95, would you be crazy enough to attach it on the exterior of your car?

OK lah, she is not crazy. It’s Nokia telling her to do that. And the 7 N95 doesn’t belongs to her. So why not? I would have done even worst if the N95 doesn’t belongs to me. Perhaps drive a car over it, while recording the process using Qik. (Hmmm…. that is a good idea. Wondering if Nokia would send me a N95 for me to do that.)

But still, I find the thing they do a bit far fetched. The site is interesting. But perhaps they can do something closer to reality. Wondering how many more days to the next 14 days?

Asking for it

When MDA release that horrible Senior Management Rap video clip, it seems like they are asking everyone on the internet to wack them by doing a parody. So someone fired the first shot.

Not bad for a start. But I’m sure we can do better. Too bad I don’t have any video editing software. I got an interesting idea. lol.

Well… guess they are asking for it.
