Taking down the China Earthquake Appeal banner
If you notice, I’ve taken down the banner for the China Earthquake Appeal. (I hope you noticed that banner when it was up) I put up the banner on 20th May and asked other bloggers to join me. Some of you did your own banners, others use the banners I’ve created. Thank you for joining me in creating awareness to the charity efforts by Singapore Red Cross. I think they are done with the donation drive since they have removed the page. Now is the restoration part. Lets hope their life returns back to normal soon.

I’ve always been telling people that the little space on the side of your blog is a very useful real estate. Why leave it empty when you can use it for charity and help promote awareness. Most importantly, it cost you nothing. All you need to do is take some time to put up a banner on the side bar. You will be amazed by the impact from your banner.

If you’re interested in helping with the restoration process, I’m trying to raise money for a school for victims in Chengdu. Hundreds of schools were destroyed in the earthquake and many children died. Please take a look and share this with anyone who would want to contribute: http://www.thepoint.com/campaigns/build-a-school-for-chinas-earthquake-victims
I have also removed mine one Aug 20.
