When will we ever stop breaking senseless world record?

When will we stop breaking senseless world records like “The Most Number of People Doing a Dance with Lanterns!” and “Largest Birthday Cake“.

And we have always been breaking senseless world records in the past. What’s the point of breaking those records? Can’t we spend our time on some more meaningful records?

2 more weeks

Was talking to my ex when she reminded me that my birthday is just 2 weeks away. I didn’t really notice that it is so near until she mentioned it.

And strangely, this coming birthday doesn’t feels like the other birthdays that I had previously. I wasn’t excited about it. I wasn’t looking forward to it. I didn’t even post a birthday wish list like I always do in the past.

It’s not about the age. People who knows me will know that I don’t really bother about the age. I’ve been telling people that I’m 28 this year without choking even though officially I should be 27 until my birthday. Age to me is never an issue…. yet.

I don’t know. Do people get bored with their birthday after some time? Maybe I do.

One of those “OH SHIT!” moments in life

One of those “OH SHIT!” moment in my life.

That’s my dad’s car door handle. Yes, the door handle for the driver side has fallen off. I’ve no idea how it happen. It just falls off when I open the door couple of days back. So in order to go into the car now, you need to open the passanger door and open the driver door from inside. Still waiting for the workshop to find the replacement parts.

The workshop guy asked which giant tried to open the door. But hey, I fail my chin up one leh.

Resistant to changes

I guess a lot of us are resistant to changes. Take for example the latest facebook new layout. Some people like it while others hate it.

As for me, I don’t really like or hate the new layout. But I just miss the old layout. The simple and sometimes messy layout. I think it is because I’m too used to the old layout already. The changes on the new layout is too big. Going to take more time for me to get used to it. It’s going to take longer for me to forget the old layout and embrace the new one. I miss the old layout. OK ok, I’m a stick in the mud who is just resistant to changes. Old people is like that 1. Haha.

Or maybe just join this facebook group call “1,000,000 AGAINST THE NEW FACEBOOK LAYOUT!” and hope facebook will revert to the old layout. (Ya right, FAT HOPE!)

How to stand at the side of the red carpet

I was at the Gala Premiere of The Days where they have this red carpet for all the crews and cast to enter the cinema. Makes you feels like it’s the Oscar or something.

And when you have such event, there will be lots of people watching show. But I guess we don’t have much experience with red carpet. I notice that a lot of people don’t know how to stand at the side of the red carpet.

This is the wrong way to stand at the side of the red carpet.

I know everyone is eager to see who is coming up next. But hello, you are blocking the red carpet. How are the stars going to walk on the red carpet?

Here is the right way to stand.

Hope everyone know how to stand at the side of the red carpet in the future.

BTW: Have you watched The Days already? It’s a great movie production. You know it is good when I plug about it 3 times in my blog. Support local production.
