Nicole: I’ll need to test it longer to let you know about the heat issue. But my past experience with Thinkpad is that its rather cool compared to other laptop.

I do wonder about the battery life of the X300 using a SSD. It’s also nice to see both the Trackpad and the Trackpoint.

It’s awfully generous to have 3 USB ports for such a small notebook Looks really great.

My last burning question: Heat issues?

HJ: Come with Vista. The 1 Digital Times got is S10 right? Don’t think it’s X300.

ssumin: I love SSD. Although I think the technology is too expensive now. But I think SSD is the way to go and it should replace all the magnetic harddisk in the near future.

Erm, your set come with vista or the beta win 7. The Digital times one come with win & beta
