The first African-American President of United States

Submitted by on November 6, 2008 – 1:42 AM2 Comments | 4 views

Been busy whole day, finally got the time to sit down to write this blog entry.

Obama won! Yes, Obama is the 44th President of USA.
And the first African-American President

If only Martin Luther King is alive to see this moment.

I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

And I think his dream came true today.

I must admit that I was kinda worried when I learnt that Obama is the Democrat candidate instead of Hillary. My main concern was that he is a black and America might not be really for a black president yet. I’m glad I was wrong. I’m glad Obama is elected as the President of United States. And although we don’t know if he is the right person to bring USA and the world out of recession, we know that we have better chance with him in the White House.

Congratulations to all American. You made a wise choice.

Well… if somebody or onebody can bring world out of recession… that one is not called president, but call supreme being liao.

Economic crisis isn’t a natural disaster… so it’s not brought upon by changes of nature. It’s a surge created by many selfish people.

So unless the fundamentals of human beings change, people with less power will always suffer.

However, I too share the joy that Obama is elected. Really sheds some light that there’s some hope for future after all… :) :) :)
