Breaking News: Mas Selamat has reportedly been arrested in Malaysia
Got news from ChannelNewsAsia that Mas Selamat has been arrested in Malaysia. (Pending confirmation) Mas Selamat Kastari escaped from Whitley Road Detention Centre on 27 Feb 2008.
Earlier this year, Home Affairs Minister Wong Kan Seng said Mas Selamat is either in Singapore or outside Singapore. WOW, he is TOTALLY RIGHT! Mas Selamat is outside Singapore.
Don’t pop your champagne yet. Still waiting for confirmation. I hope it is true. It’s about time his toilet break ends.

Update: Confirmed! Mas Selamat was arrested in Johor 6 weeks ago on April fools day. (Nope, this is not a delayed April Fool joke. It better not be)
Update 2: It is reported that Mas Selamat swam across the Straits of Johor using an ‘improvised flotation device’ soon after his escape.
Well, the Selamat Datang sign at Malaysia causeway really work. (Mas) Selamat really Datang.
