Here is an interesting concert. Instead of the usual classical music, the NUS Symphony Orchestra & NUS Choir will be performing music from popular video games. Mario, Halo, Final Fantasy, WarCraft, Sonic, Metal Gear Solid, Interactive Space Invaders, Diablo III, Legend of Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Castlevania and Guitar Hero are just some of the games that will be featured in the concert.

Video Games Live is created by Jack Wall and Tommy Tallarico, Guinness Record holder for prolificacy in video game composing. Over one hundred shows have been held in twelve countries since its debut in July 2005.

The Video Games Live (VGL) Singapore is on 19 June 2009 (This coming Friday) at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Pre-show festival will begin at 6pm while the concert will be from 8.30pm to 11.00pm. Ticket priced at S$55, S$70, S$85 and S$115.
