Here is a great spoof by mrbrown on the 2009 NDP theme song. Honestly, I think they should use this version for the NDP theme song instead.

mrbrown – Lekuasimi

All my friends say I’m a chiongster
Who like to drink Teh Si
My Civic may be lau pok chia
But can almost hit 50
I just minding my own business
Why the others all cut me?
They change lane don’t use signal and
They always challenge me
Le Kua Simi?
Le Kua Simi?
See the light when turn green, see my super chio rim
Even though your car faster than me, my Honda still more swee
You may think you reach there faster then can order your ice cream
Le Kua Simi….
My car more swee
I only earn 900 but my petrol 550
They say now is the downturn but my car got leather seat
I know my car is not last forever
Because of COE
But a man must have his vision, and his density
Wa Kua Simi
Wa Kua Simi
Find more ger at the bar, when they see my new car
You can feeling the tetno beat, my bass tube sibei tua
I will drive you to Mt Faber and together we see star
Le Kua Simi
Le Kua Simi tonight
Got sea and got mountain
You and me tonight
We going to reach Milky Way
Together we can join to make the downpayment
Get a better car than I can afford
Chor kang cannot keow kar, I must work extra hard
I must work in the sun until my face become chow tar
When patience is a virgin, you must wait long long time
No Ah Beng at the traffic light can hope to challenge me
Le Kua Simi
Le Kua Simi

How Much Is That Blogger In The Window?

OK, if you are reading this blog entry between Friday 6pm to Saturday 6pm (17 July to 18 July), I should be inside the TANGS display window taking part in the Blogathon. Yes, I was crazy enough to accept this 24 hour challenge. So if you are free, do pop by TANGS along Orchard Road and support me.

I’ll be updating on this blog and TANGS website. You can also follow me on twitter. The hash tag for this event is #bthon. I’ll try to setup a live video streaming from inside the window. This is going to be fun.

Can’t help but want to sing this song. (Replace the word Doggie with Blogger)

Oh, in case you are wondering how much is that blogger in the window, here is the answer.

The blogger is not for sale. But just about everything else is.

HTC Hero Viral Video

This is a awesome viral video for the upcoming HTC Hero.

Yes, I know it’s a little bit the too obvious that its a marketing video for HTC Hero. Here is another video, this time its from the headcam.

If you notice, the guy jump from 1st bus to 2nd bus smoothly without his hands touching the bus in the first video. But on the 2nd video, his hand is touching the bus when he landed. (see 0:36) And there should be 3 people watching the guy jump down from the bus. But from the headcam (At around 0:39), the 3rd person (who should be holding the camera that is filming the 1st video) is clearly missing.

But who cares if they did it in 2 takes. Its still a great video and interesting concept. Can’t wait for HTC Hero to hit the Singapore market.

No matter how you draw the line, it still doesn’t work

If you notice recently, the lines on the MRT platform has been redrawn. Gone is the yellow funnel lines at the door which never seems to work. For a start, the funnel is too small and force alighting passengers squeeze thru a small gap left by the boarding passengers. I’m glad they finally replaced the yellow line with something better.

SMRT replaced the yellow line with Red and Green line. And the funnel is actually wider now which gives more space to alighting passengers. But does it work?

Nope. It’s useless. No matter how you draw the line, get Phua Chu Kang to grumble or position staff at the platform, it still doesn’t work.

Perhaps installing some spikes will help. What do you think?
