MARUAH (The Singapore Working Group for ASEAN Human Rights Mechanism) is organising a workshop titled “Engaging the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) – The People’s Views”. The aim of the workshop is to raise awareness on the functions and roles of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights.

Date: 22 August 2009
Time: 8.30am – 3.45pm
Venue: Novotel Hotel, Clarke Quay

I would really love to attend this workshop, but I’ll be at Reservist and won’t be able to book out until after lunch time. Doubt I’ll be able to make it. But if you are interested in human rights, you should attend this workshop.
