Splashtop instant start to have instant search soon

Here is an interesting news. DeviceVM, the makers of Splashtop, has announced that they will be adding instant search bar on their desktop from September 09 onwards. This will allow users to search instantly after the splashtop instant on. You can configure the instant search to use almost any search engine like Google, Yahoo or Bing. The default will be Yahoo or rather Bing since Microsoft will be taking over the search on Yahoo. (Default for China is Baidu and Default for Russia is Yandex).

If you still remember, I tested the Splashtop on the Lenovo S10-2 and it works beautifully, booting up in mere 10 seconds. The browser takes around another 20 seconds to start. I wish all netbook comes with Splashtop.

With this instant search, you can start keying in your search phrase before the browser start up. Isn’t that cool? Now, I wonder if existing Lenovo S10-2 users can get this new Splashtop too.
