In 2008, internationally renowned F1 photographer Paul-Henri Cahier attended the first Singapore Grand Prix. Taking it as a new technical and artistic challenge, Paul-Henri came out with amazing pictures. Exhibited for the first time, 40 of these are presented outdoor on large format prints (1.8×1.2m), featuring the Singapore circuit and skyline together with the famous champions and their cars!
THE FIRST NIGHT RACE
Photographs of the Singapore Grand Prix 2008 by Paul-Henri Cahier
Venue: Orchard Road (pavement stretch along Wheelock Place, Liat Towers and Far East Shopping Centre)
Dates: 22 September – 03 October 2009
In conjunction with the outdoor exhibition, the organisers are allowing me to give away 2 books titled “The First Night Race: Photographs of the Singapore Grand Prix 2008” by Paul-Henri Cahier.
The First Night Race is a 52-page book with 48 colour photographs from the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix, taken by Paul-Henri Cahier, who has been taking photographs of F1 since the age of 15. Together with his father Bernard Cahier, the father and son are two of the most famous photographers in the history of motor racing.
Oh, did I say that the 2 books will be autographed by Paul-Henri Cahier himself.
On top of that, the 2 winners will also get exclusive invitation to the opening night of the exhibition at Hilton Hotel on Sep 23rd 2009, where Paul-Henri Cahier will be in attendance. (Maybe can ask him for some tips on how to take good photos for the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix)
How to apply:
Just drop me an email me with the title: “Dee Kay Dot As Gee Giveaway: The First Night Race: Photographs of the Singapore Grand Prix 2008”.
