Cool huh? There is another set of advertisement in the same series: Kimbo Slice vs Caterpillar.

By the way, Norton 2010 will be launching in Singapore in early Oct 09.

In conjunction with the outdoor exhibition, the organisers are allowing me to give away 2 books titled “The First Night Race: Photographs of the Singapore Grand Prix 2008” by Paul-Henri Cahier.

The First Night Race is a 52-page book with 48 colour photographs from the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix, taken by Paul-Henri Cahier, who has been taking photographs of F1 since the age of 15. Together with his father Bernard Cahier, the father and son are two of the most famous photographers in the history of motor racing.

Oh, did I say that the 2 books will be autographed by Paul-Henri Cahier himself.

On top of that, the 2 winners will also get exclusive invitation to the opening night of the exhibition at Hilton Hotel on Sep 23rd 2009, where Paul-Henri Cahier will be in attendance. (Maybe can ask him for some tips on how to take good photos for the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix)

Renaming Dee Kay Dot As Gee Recession Giveaway

In case you still don’t know, we are out of recession already. (Were we in one to begin with? Hmmmmm….. ) But that doesn’t stop me from giving away goodies on my blog. Right? Just that perhaps I shouldn’t be calling it “Dee Kay Dot As Gee Recession Giveaway” since there is no more recession.

I’m renaming my “Dee Kay Dot As Gee Recession Giveaway” section to “Dee Kay Dot As Gee Giveaway”. Same rules still applies.

Got a new giveaway coming up soon. Keep a lookout. :)

Reservist Day Eight – “Improved” Shitty Equipment

**This entry was hand written on 29 Aug 2009**

Remember that piece of shitty equipment I was talking about? Guess what? We were issued an improved version of it. Improved in F**K-UP-NESS! Just when I thought that piece of shitty equipment is the worst thing in the army, they issued us an improved version which is even worst. And its heavier than the previous version. And here is the best part. We are supposed to use this “improved” shitty equipment for the 4 days exercise next week. Well done.

Seriously, have the designers ever tried using that shitty equipment before? I bet not. I suggest letting them wear that shitty piece of equipment for 1 whole day inside their aircon office. I’m sure they can’t endure it even in aircon office. Then ask them to imagine the servicemen who are using it in the freaking forest.

Don’t let me know who designed this shitty equipment. I’ll surely burn down his house and beat his mother. Same for the person who approved this equipment.

OK, I’m just kidding about burning their house and beat their mother. But seriously, that is the worst equipment that I’ve came across in the army. Luckily for everyone, it is only used during training. If take this shitty equipment for real war, we sure lose.

We spend the morning setting up the improved shitty equipment. Our platoon is the fastest to finish. Spend the rest of the day in bunk waiting to book out. Waited until 5pm.
