What’s up with the Paddington Bear?

Some of you might notice that I’ve posted an entire Facebook photo album on Paddington Bear. No, the Paddington Bear makers didn’t engage bloggers to help promote their new bear. If they do, I should be the last person on their list. And there is no Paddington Bear craze in Singapore yet.

So here is the whole story. We had a Christmas gathering last Tuesday, like what we have been doing for the past 2 years. And as usual, we have a small gift exchange. So everyone is supposed to buy a present and we draw lots to see who gets what. And I got the Paddington Bear that Justin bought.

It’s super funny cause I was with him on Monday when he bought the present. And I casually mentioned that I’ll try to exchange with another person if I get the bear. But like what Fari said, Fate deals cruel hands. I got the bear via draw lots and nobody wants to exchange with me. (Coincidently, that present was numbered 13) Well, at least it wasn’t a Hello Kitty.

And for the fun of it, we even did a unboxing/unwraping video at the restaurant.

I notice that the customers at the other table are watching and laughing too. It was good fun. Really enjoyed the Christmas gathering. Hope everyone had a good time.

PS: Maybe I should change my avatar photo to this.
