I love Street View. It is one of the many amazing product from Google. Which explains why I was so excited when Google Street View finally goes live in Singapore.
Well, Street View just got even better recently. They’ve added Pompeii into the list of many wonderful places in the world with Street View. Yes, you can now visit the beautiful ancient city of Pompeii from the comfort of your home. Isn’t that cool? I wonder how they do the Street View imaging. Should be using Google Trike since it’s impossible for the van to enter some of the places.

It’s a new use for street view in my eyes, I always thought of it as a cool novelty. I mean, using it to see suburban American neighbor hoods is boring, but to see a historical place, cool use.
