IT Master Plan iN2015

Very futuristic. Some of the technology are already available. We just need the implementations. But there are quite a number of technologies that are not invented yet. I don’t think we are able to reach a stage anywhere near that video in the next 5 years. And I think some stuff on the video are technologically impossible.
I was laughing when I saw the gal make payment with palm print. Technology speaking, it is totally possible to do that right now. The only problem is with the implementation. Look at the mess we have now with all the different credit card, cash card and EZ-Link card payment. It is hard to enforce 1 standard mode of payment. I doubt IDA is able to implement that within the next 5 years.
Oh well, its a good vision. Maybe we will be able to reach that stage in 20 or 30 years time.

ok, so why has none of the concepts here have, at least, a solar panel?
won’t all these be very energy consuming?
