The Great Audio Experience

Submitted by on May 13, 2010 – 11:30 AM3 Comments | 9 views

I don’t know if it is coincident or they saw my blog entry regarding Flashmob. The Health Promotion Board (HPB) is organizing a Flashmob. And no, they aren’t doing a dancing Flashmob this time (FINALLY!!!!). Instead, they are going to do something like the MP3 Experiment.

In case you don’t know what is the MP3 Experiment, check this out.

HPB is calling it The Great Audio Experience. But basically it’s the same thing. And instead of distributing MP3s and getting everyone to play the file at the same timing (which we all know sure have some synchronization issues), they decided to use radio to transmit the instructions. You heard me right, radio. Power right?

So on 29 May 2010 at 4:30pm, a group of people will gather at 3 location and tuning in to 987FM and listening to Mister Young’s instructions. The 3 locations are: The Heeren Shops, Orchard Central and SMU Green. Everyone will slowly make their way to Plaza Singapura.

In case you are wondering, I will be starting at SMU Green. (Closer to Plaza Singapura so don’t need walk so far. Wahahahahaha…..)

If you are interested, register at Breathe.sg now. Participants stand to win 1 of the 3 iPad 16GB. Join the Facebook event to see who else is attending.

But if you are not the adventurous, you can still come to Plaza Singapura to watch the performance by our local bands such as The Fire Fight, Pervy Boy, Stellastory, Black Diamond Ninjas and The Auditory Effect.

PS: If you are registering, put my name as referrer hor. Then I got higher chance of winning the iPad. Wahahahahaha. :D
