Found this interesting Youtube video. Singapore in 1956 taken using a 8mm film. Interesting. Too bad there isn’t any sound.
Do you recongnise all the places? Some of the buildings still exist today.

You can even walk through the streets. It is all rendered in 3D. The Brotherhood came out with such a rendition. It is called Mindscape. The person who runs it is Y2K. He is based in Primus Aldentes Prime. And yes there is sound and color.
Oh men this is a rare video. I cant imagine that this is really Singapore in 1956. Because now, Singapore is really urbanized with towering skyscrapers. Thanks for posting. =)
It was a nice video. yes, Singapore is already an urbanized country but then i do believe that there are still some places in 1956 that can still found in Singapore right know because the people knows how to cultured their historical places which can also help their country to attract more foreign visitors.
Really? I never thought that Singapore looks like this before. It is really different now. I last visited Singapore during the birthday of my son, I treated him an Asian tour. =)
