iPhone 4 Case Program
I’m surprised that some iPhone 4 owners don’t know that they qualify for the free iPhone 4 case from Apple. Apple is giving out free case because of the antennagate issue. So far, I haven’t heard/seen any major antennagate issue in Singapore. I think the problem is mainly restricted to US only. The reception bar does drop a bit when you do the death grip but it doesn’t drop calls. Well, since Apple is giving away free iPhone 4 casing, why not?
To apply for the free iPhone 4 casing, you will need to go to the App Store and download this application call “iPhone4 Case Program”. I guess Apple really meant it when they say there’s an app for just about anything. Even getting free iPhone 4 case. Nice.
After downloading the iPhone 4 Case Program App, launch it. You will be prompted to login to your iTunes account. Once done, you will be presented a catalog of the iPhone 4 case available and the estimate time required for shipping. You can click each case to see the description and some photos of it.
When you finally decided which iPhone 4 case to take, just click the select button and your free iPhone 4 case will be making its way to you soon. It’s that easy.
Note that the free iPhone 4 case program is only applicable to those who purchased their iPhone 4 before 30 September 2010. You must apply for the free iPhone 4 case within 30 days of your iPhone purchase.

Antennagate issue is probably due to the casing and network. Somehow with the GSM 1900 with my AT&T line, the issue is clearly apparent, and when the same phone comes to Singapore on the GSM 1800 network, it works fine without the bumper.
So I guess its true, the problem exists in US and perhaps other countries with the GSM 1900 networks. Singapore, the problem is like you said, just a little…

Robin: I don’t know if it is because of the GSM1800/GSM1900 or other factor. All I notice is that most of the complaints are coming from US.
Is there any other country using GSM1900 and having iPhone 4? Do they also have the same amount of dropped call?
