Battle of the 4 Tan
Wow, after several years of walkover for Presidential Elections, we are finally going to vote for President again. And it’s going to be a 4 corner fight between Tan Cheng Bock, Tan Jee Say, Tony Tan and Tan Kin Lian.
Here’s the 4 President hopeful’s thank you speech at the nomination centre.
Former PAP MP Tan Cheng Bock, 71
Investment adviser Tan Jee Say, 57
Former deputy prime minister Tony Tan, 71
Former NTUC Income chief Tan Kin Lian, 63
Singapore will go to the polls on 27 August 2011 to elect a President. The last time Singapore voted for President is back in 1993.
OK, at least I made a correct prediction this time. I predicted that the next President is Mr Tan. And since all the 4 candidates’ surname is Tan, I will definitely be correct.
