Google Halloween Doodle 2011

Was kinda surprised yesterday that Google didn’t do a Halloween Doodle. But I was wrong. Google did have a Doodle for Halloween this year. It wasn’t on Google.com. It was at Googleplex. Yes, a real life Google doodle.

Pretty amazing. Check out the behind the behind-the-scenes video too. Pretty amazing. And that is some huge pumpkin.

Steve Jobs’ final words

Quoted from Mona Simpson’s Eulogy for Steve Jobs. Mona Simpson is Steve’s biological sister.

Steve’s final words, hours earlier, were monosyllables, repeated three times.

Before embarking, he’d looked at his sister Patty, then for a long time at his children, then at his life’s partner, Laurene, and then over their shoulders past them.

Steve’s final words were:

OH WOW. OH WOW. OH WOW.

With a life like his, it’s no surprise that the final words are “OH WOW”.
