Top Gear Eco Car Challenge Spoof

Top Gear fans are going to love this spoof.

It is so good that you can totally imagine Jeremy Clarkson saying those things in a Top Gear episode. And even the Top Gear UK producer, Andy Wilman, thinks that they did a good job.

HTC G1 running Ice Cream Sandwich

Remember HTC G1 aka Dream? That’s the first Android phone in the market. It was launched in Singapore back in February 2009. Not sure how many people are still using the HTC Dream. But if you still have a working unit, you will be glad to hear that someone managed to port Android Ice Cream Sandwich to HTC Dream.

Nope, you are not dreaming. Here’s the video proof.

I doubt you will want to install Ice Cream Sandwich on your HTC Dream. If you watch the video, the phone appears to be very laggy. WiFi, Bluetooth and screen rotation aren’t working too.

But if you really want to put Ice Cream Sandwich on your HTC Dream, here’s the link.

Why this Kolaveri Di

Why this Kolaveri Di (Why this murderous rage, girl?) is a song from a upcoming Tamil movie. The song was released on YouTube on 16th November 2011 and it went viral for its quirky “Tanglish” (Tamil–English) lyrics and catchy tune.

In case you are wondering, the lyrics portray the feelings of an average Indian boy, who has failed in love, or who has some problems with his girl.

Man dump cat in a clinic’s bin

What kind of sick idiot does this sort of thing? If you don’t want the cat, put it up for adoption or send it to SPCA. Or set it free in a open area where it can roam freely. OK, the last suggestion is not really recommended. But it is definitely much better than dumping the cat into a vet clinic’s bin where it can’t get out.

Luckily there’s CCTV.

In fact, more than one CCTV. Check out the video from CCTV 2 and CCTV 3.

The SPCA is appealing for information about the identity of the person in this video to assist in an investigation. Hope they find this guy soon.

PS: How come the vet got so many CCTV? Haha.

Update: The man has been identified. SPCA will be following up with the AVA on this case. According to news report, his wife said that he suffers from bipolar disorder. YA RIGHT. I hope the judge also suffer from bipolar disorder and will give him a tougher jail sentence

Photojojo iPhone Lens Dial

The Photojojo iPhone Lens Dial is a aluminum case for iPhone 4 or 4S with three lenses: Wide Angle, Fisheye, and Telephoto. It is designed in such a way that it is easy to rotate the dial to change lenses.

The 0.7x Wide Angle lens is good for capturing wide scenery. 1.5x Telephoto lens helps you zoom into your subject without losing quality like digital zoom. And 0.33x Fisheye lens lets you be creative with your shots.

The Photojojo iPhone Lens Dial Case has two tripod mounts for portrait and landscape.

The Photojojo iPhone Lens Dial cost US$249 and is available here.

But wait a minute. 3 lens for $249? That’s kinda expensive. And the Photojojo iPhone Lens Dial is kinda bulky.

A better option will be the Olloclip which cost only US$69.99. Olloclip has the Fisheye and Wide Angle Lens. It does not have a telephoto lens but it have a macro lens. And if you need tripod mount, get a glif for US$20.

You can’t switch lenses as easy as the Photojojo iPhone Lens Dial. But the Olloclip + glif combo is much cheaper and compact.
