Facebook picture viewer redesign
Submitted by dk on February 8, 2012 – 10:00 PM5 Comments | 42 views
Facebook just released a redesigned picture viewer that is great for wide screen. The comments section is now beside the picture. This new design makes more sense now. You can easily comment on a picture on the picture viewer without the need to scroll down.
And due to the real estate constrain, advertisements are now below the comments section. This might be a little misleading to some users who didn’t notice the “Sponsored Stories” wording. But I’m sure the advertisers won’t complaint about this.
What do you think about the new redesign? Like it?

It’s a good thing that facebook try and improve their service. But sometimes frequent changes seem a little irritating. But I love this new redesigned picture viewer. The black shade has given it a gorgeous look.
Thanks for sharing.

If I were the Google+ Photos designer, I’d feel pretty ripped off right now. Hahaha.

Glad that this sort of things can’t be patented. Else we will see all the patents war flying around.
(OH wait…. maybe it can be patented. I don’t know)
Yes, I like it. Changes and improvements are the reasons members in faceook are retaining as well as increasing. Social network sites who failed to this didn’t become competitive. Facebook is always improving and being consistent in keeping its members interested.
