So what’s new on Belle?

The new Belle now give users 6 customizable home screen for the new larger live widgets. There is also a new notification bar for all the notifications and quick access to WIFI, Bluetooth and Data settings. Improvements in user experience with simpler menus and faster and smoother transition from one home screen to another.

The update also brings users a visually improved web browser, new Nokia Maps for faster access to navigation and powerful new Microsoft applications.

The Nokia Belle software update will be available progressively in Singapore from 8 February 2012 for Nokia C6-01, C7, E6, E7, N8 and X7, and users can update their devices for free via PC on Nokia Suite. Visit Nokia’s website for more information about the software update, and instructions on how to download it.

Facebook picture viewer redesign

Facebook just released a redesigned picture viewer that is great for wide screen. The comments section is now beside the picture. This new design makes more sense now. You can easily comment on a picture on the picture viewer without the need to scroll down.

And due to the real estate constrain, advertisements are now below the comments section. This might be a little misleading to some users who didn’t notice the “Sponsored Stories” wording. But I’m sure the advertisers won’t complaint about this.

What do you think about the new redesign? Like it?

OK Go – Needing/Getting

I’ve been waiting for months, waiting for years, waiting for you to change.
Aw, but there ain’t much that’s dumber, there ain’t much that’s dumber
than pinning your hopes on a change in another.
And I, yeah I still need you, but what good’s that gonna do?
Needing is one thing, and getting- getting’s another.

So I been sitting around, wasting my time, wondering what you been doing.
Aw, and it ain’t real forgiving, it ain’t real forgiving sitting here picturing someone else living.
And I, yeah I still need you, but what good’s that gonna do?
Needing is one thing, and getting- getting’s another.

I’ve been hoping for months, hoping for years, hoping I might forget.
Aw but it don’t get much dumber, it don’t get much dumber
than trying to forget a girl when you love her.
And I, yeah I still need you, but what good’s that gonna do?
Needing is one thing, and getting- getting’s another.

When? When? Why not now? Why not me? Why not me?

World’s Fastest 128GB SDXC Card

SanDisk recently announced the World’s Fastest 128GB SDXC Card. The SanDisk Extreme SDXC UHS-I Card is able to achieve up to 45 mb per second read and write speeds. That’s pretty impressive.

You most likely won’t need this sort of speed if you are using the SD card for a normal point and shoot camera. In fact, I think you hardly need such speed if you are on an entry level DSLR. But this is good for those DSLR to capture Full HD videos or high-quality 3D footage.

The 64GB and 128GB SanDisk Extreme SDXC UHS-I cards are now available at S$219 and S$439 respectively.

Check out the Bumblebee statue during the Shanghai Cybertron Con. Cool stuff.

Oh, in case you are wondering, pictures and video inside the event venue is allowed. But no flash photography. I’m sure you don’t want to flash into Megatron’s eyes.
