Ah Boys to Men Official Trailer

Ah Boys to Men (新兵正传) will be premiering on 8 Nov 2012. Here’s the official trailer.

I don’t know what does “1st Singapore Movie With The Most Visual Effects” means. But hey, check out the Robinson Road Battle scene in the trailer.

Here’s a photo that I took at the movie set.

Dropbox Space Race Program

If you are a tertiary or collage student, Dropbox wants you! Take part in the Dropbox Space Race Program and get up to 25GB of free Dropbox storage for the next two years.

The program will run for 8 weeks. To qualify for the extra space, students just need to register at the Dropbox Space Race Program site with their school email addresses. All students will get extra 3GB for two years by default. They can get more space by encouraging their school mates to take part. Schools get one point for every student who signs up and two points for everybody who completes the “Get Started” guide. The points will help the students earn more space once their school pass the three pre-set thresholds set by Dropbox.

This is actually a brilliant way for Dropbox to get more collage students to use the service.

It is interesting to note that National University of Singapore is currently 1st in the leader board while Nanyang Technological University and Singapore Management University are in the 3rd and 10th position respectively. Is there some kind of inter-tertiary competition happening in Singapore?

We need more of this on Social Media

Saw this photo on Facebook on Monday morning and it put a smile on my face. It is a photo of three men in Army uniform and a few civilian helping an elderly board a bus on a rainy day without hesitation.

Good job guys!

It’s nice to see Social Media being used to compliment good deeds. Something that we don’t always see on local Social Media. Most of the time we see Social Media being used to shame people for bad behaviour. And honestly, I’m quite sick of that.

So yes, this is a nice change. Let’s hope we see more of this on Social Media.
