Street Fighter X Mega Man now available for download

Today is Mega Man’s 25th 25th anniversary. To celebration this occasion, Capcom collaborate with Singaporean Fan, Seow Zong Hui, to release a new Mega Man game for PC. Street Fighter X Mega Man is now available for free download at Capcom website. The “8 bit game” is just 33.8 MB in file size. Only available for Windows.

The game is very well written with the retro look and feel. Reminds me of the good old days of playing Mega Man II on my 8 bit TV console. And thanks Capcom for reminding me that I’m quite bad at this game. Haha.

Distracting your customers

Difficult to use site search

Troublesome checkout process

The Captcha part is really spot on. I always have problem trying to figure out what’s the Captcha word. And yes, I’ve given up on websites when I can’t figure out the Captcha after 2 or 3 tries.

Do check out the Google Analytics blog post too, especially if you are a web designer.

Google Maps is back on iOS

Good news to all iPhone users! Google Maps is back on iOS!

Apple removed Google Maps as the default map app in iOS 6 update. It was replaced by Apple’s own map which wasn’t well received by most iOS users. In fact, Apple CEO Tim Cook even apologised for the poor experience on the iOS Map.

The new Google Maps Apps looks great. I love Street View and Traffic Conditions features. Google also included voice guided turn-by-turn navigation to the Google Maps App. Cool!

Google also announced Google Maps SDK for iOS. With the Google Maps SDK for iOS, developers can feature Google maps in their applications and makes it simple to link to Google Maps from their app.

Google Maps is currently available for iPhone and iPod Touch at Apple App Store. iPad version will be coming soon.
