This is a cool gadget for those frequent travelers. The PlugBug World by Twelve South allows Mac users to have dual charging using 1 power point.
The PlugBug simply piggyback to the MacBook Power Adaptor, creating a dual charger for your MacBook and a 2.1 Amp USB port for charging devices like iPhone or iPad. The kit includes five international snap-on plugs and doubles as an international, stand-alone USB charger for iPhone and iPad.
You might be wondering, why would you need this when you can simply charge your devices using the MacBook’s USB port. Well, charging on the PlugBug is much faster than charging using the MacBook’s USB port. Some older MacBook’s USB port can’t even charge the iPad.
Well, of course you can just carry a multiplug and a separate USB Power Adaptor. But if you want to travel light, PlugBug is the way to go.
I got the US version before they have an International version. I am still waiting for Singapore to carry it! The shipping directly is too ex!
