I’m actually surprised that a lot of people didn’t know the great benefits of the NS45 vouchers. You can use the NS45 vouchers at participating outlets like Newstead, NuBox, Fish & Co, K Box, Cathay, NTUC Fairprice etc etc.
I’ve been telling a lot of people that the best way to use the NS45 vouchers is to exchange them for Capital Malls vouchers. Capital Malls vouchers can be used more than 2,000 stores across 16 malls in Singapore. And for a geek like me, the best part about the Capital Malls vouchers is that it can be used in Funan DigitaLife Mall. Yes, the geek paradise.
All you need to do is to bring your NS45 vouchers to the Customer Service Counter to exchange for the Capital Malls vouchers. Remember to bring your NRIC along. The vouchers are valid for 1 year so you can take your time to slowly decide what to buy.
And hey, I did put the Capital Malls vouchers in good use. I used it to buy Up by Jawbone to monitor my fitness and health. Need to top up some money but still a good deal. Now, time to book my IPT.
If you are not a geek, the Capital Malls vouchers can be used in other shopping centre like ION Orchard, Plaza Sing, Bugis+, JCube, Junction 8 etc etc. Personally I think this is the best way to use the NS45 vouchers. Thank you Zheng Hu for the $80 NS45 vouchers.
How did you spend your NS45 vouchers?
Sigma surprised the world by releasing the first constant f/1.8 zoom lens, the Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM Art lens.
The Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 lens is a wide aperture zoom created for DSLR cameras with APS-C size sensors. On a 1.6 crop sensor it’ll be the equivalent of a 28.8-56mm f/1.8 lens. The focal length makes the lens perfect for landscapes, portraits, wedding, studio, close-up and street photography.
A fixed f/1.8 aperture on a zoom lens is something unheard of. Most zoom lens from Canon and Nikon has a fixed aperture of f/2.8. This new Sigma lens offer more than a stop of extra light. I think it will be great for achieving bokeh effect while at the same time still offer some zoom capability.
The Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 will be available in Canon, Nikon and Sigma mounts. No news on the price or availability date. Personally, I’m hoping that it won’t be too expensive. This would be a good lens to have in the bag.
