Parallels Access is now available in Singapore at $25.90 (for a 14-month subscription instead of 12) at Challenger, EpiCentre, Harvey Norman and NuBox.
LINE recently unveiled its first ever Pop-Up Store in Singapore.
Located at the Grand Steps of Wisma Atria, the pop-up store is set to bring the ultimate LINE experience for everyone to enjoy. Besides an extensive array of official LINE merchandise available at the Pop-up Store, larger-than-life Brown and Cony character mascots will appear at the store every Friday to Sunday for photo-taking opportunities.
In-store activities include a Roulette game where shoppers will win LINE merchandise. To participate, shoppers must have LINE application downloaded on their phone or have shared a picture of the pop-up store in their LINE group chat.
So hurry. The pop up store will run till 22 May 2014.
Navy@Vivo is back. After 2 successful Navy@Vivo last year, the Republic of Singapore Navy is back at VivoCity with one of our Landing Ships Tank (LST), RSS Persistence.
From 29 May to 1 June, the RSS Persistence, will lower her gangway at VivoCity Promenade to visitors. Visitors can tour the Landing Ship and take a joy ride onboard the Fast Craft Utility (FCU) around the Harbourfront waters. There will also be exhibition within VivoCity.
Admission to the ship tour is free however you need to ballot for a ticket. Only Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents can apply for tickets to the ship visit. Balloting is from now till 18 May 2014. Good luck!
Some people say that we will sooner see snow storm in Singapore than we will see gratitude. And perhaps that’s why I’ve been wishing to see snow in Singapore, especially during hot weather like this.

Star Wars fan around the world celebrated May The 4th last Sunday and Singapore is no exception. The Singapore Star Wars Day celebration took place at Jurong Regional Library. Programme line up for the day include the first Singapore screening of “Plastic Galaxy: A History of Star Wars Toys” by Brian Stillman, Lightsaber workshop session for kids by FightSaber Singapore, display of Star Wars toys and many more. And no Star Wars Day celebration is complete without special appearance by 501st Legion Singapore Garrison.
