Hitman: Agent 47

Singaporeans might find some of the scenes in Hitman: Agent 47 familiar. That’s because part of the film was shot in Singapore.

The filming crew were in Singapore in May 2014 to shoot the action thriller starring Rupert Friend and Zachary Quinto. The action packed street scene in the trailer was shot along Robinson Road, the same location for the battle scene in the local movie Ah Boy to Men.

Oh, and in case you are wondering, we don’t usually have so many blue cabs on the street. Lol.

Besides Robinson Road, the filming crew also went to places like Gardens by the Bay.

HITMAN: AGENT 47 centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47’s past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own.

Hitman: Agent 47 opens in Singapore 27 August 2015.
