Last Thursday, 7 May 2015 marked the 3rd Annual World Password Day. On that day, Intel Security urges companies and consumers to spend a few minutes considering the importance of passwords in their lives, while resolving to change and improve them. Last year, more than 600 organizations and 32 major brand partners supported World Password Day, promoting better password habits among users.
This blog entry may be a few days late. But its better late than never. Here are some tips and tricks from Intel Security for better online security.
1. Change your passwords regularly
2. Enable multi-factor identification
3. Use unique passwords for every account
4. Don’t casually share your passwords
5. Lock your device with a PIN or password
6. Let a manager memorize your passwords
7. Stop using passwords that are one word
8. Make long and strong passwords
The star cast of Tiger Mom <虎妈猫爸> comprising of Chinese A-lister Zhao Wei (赵薇), Wang Sen (王森), and Executive Producer Huang Lan (黄 澜) were here in Singapore to promote their newest TV drama on STAR Chinese Channel.
Premiered in a global simulcast last Sunday, Tiger Mom <虎妈猫爸> continues to garner high ratings in China and in Singapore. The series marks Zhao Wei’s highly-anticipated return to the screen after a 6-year hiatus, the drama explores love, relationships and the challenges of raising a child in modern day China.
Playing as a type-A ‘tiger mom’ in the show, the 39 year old star shared that as a mother herself, she can understand the tough competition parents and children face in today’s education rat race.
Dressed in a cream-coloured dress, Zhao Wei expressed her thanks to Singapore audiences for their supportive tune-ins to Tiger Mom <虎妈猫爸>. She said that the story, which follows around a happy couple and their young daughter who has just started school and seems to be falling behind her peers, is a theme that many Singapore audiences can easily relate to.
Wang Sen, who plays a playful brother to Zhao Wei’s character in the series, shared that it is his first time in Singapore and he is thinking of staying for a few days to explore the island.
Tiger Mom <虎妈猫爸> is airing on STAR Chinese Channel (卫视中文台), Singtel TV Ch. 507 and StarHub TV Ch. 822 every weekday at 9pm.

Fans of Gundam, rejoice! In celebration of the 35th anniversary of GUNDAM model kit and in conjunction with Singapore’s Golden Jubilee, the “Gundam Docks at Singapore” will be held at Ngee Ann City from 4 to 28 June 2015. One of the largest such exhibitions outside Japan, the approximately 4,000sqm showcase will include over 200 models of the phenomenal Gundam series. There will also be over 10 booths selling Gundam merchandises including exclusive editions at Takashimaya Square, B2.
Witness the fight between Earth Federation vs Principality of Zeon as the RX-78-2 Gundam, the largest Gundam to be showcased outside Japan, come face to face with Char’s Zaku at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza. The Gundam and Zaku are around 6 metres each, at a scale of 1:3, and weighs two tonnes each. Accompanied by daily light and sound shows held in the evenings, this is an activity you cannot miss as the war drama comes to life before your eyes.
