Gillette Avengers-inspired razors

Gillette and Stark Industries have joined forces to create four razors using Avengers-inspired technology, modeled after Gillette Fusion ProGlide. With the critical mission to set a new standard for all razors moving forward, Stark Industries’ R&D team has adapted its renowned technology to build four prototypes of razors modeled after members of the Avengers: Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America, and Thor.

The Repulsor1 with Exoblade has an Arc Reactor Technology that generates a perpetual energy supply to obliterate face hairs with Uni-beam pulse bolts.

The Gillette XL Gamma with stress-triggered sensors and an unstable molecular structure, can increase up to 700% in razor mass and brute shaving force

The Gillette Ultra Strike is rebuilt with Super Soldier Technology and has a rare Vibranium-coated Shield Cartridge that shoots out from the handle to cut targeted hairs

The Gillette Thunder scorches hairs to the follicle with micro-lightning and an honor based gyro-gravity field to make it borrow-proof.

Learn more about these Avengers-inspired razors and catch Avengers: Age of Ultron with every $30 purchase of Gillette products by 31 May 2015.

Otters at Gardens By The Bay

I was at Gardens By The Bay few weeks ago when I decided to look for the resident otters. Yes, there is a group of otters living at Gardens By The Bay. Surprise huh?

It took me less than 15 minutes to find a few of them resting on a floating platform. I think there were 5 to 6 of them. There’s also a group of people around the area watching the otters.

Didn’t really get good photos as the sky is turning dark and I can’t use flash.

I heard there is another group of otters at Bishan Park and Punggol Waterway. The NParks had issued an advisory on what to do when you encounter the otters. Hope everyone follows it.

LEGO Star Wars General Grievous buildable figure (75112)

LEGO recently announced 4 new Star Wars buildable figures, Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, Jango Fett and Clone Commander Cody, at the Star Wars Celebration. These 4 buildable figures will be in the same series as Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker that was announced in February.

I’m not a fan of the buildable figures initially. I prefer to collect the minifigures. But I think General Grievous is going to make me change my mind about the series.

This must be the best looking buildable figure from LEGO ever. The General Grievous buildable figure contains 186 pieces and will retail at US$34.99. All 6 LEGO Star Wars buildable figures will be available later this year in September.

SilkAir new cabin crew uniform

SilkAir recently unveiled a new collection of uniforms for its over 500 cabin crew, embracing a chic new style that embodies its professional image and demonstrates the airline’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the brand remains relevant for the times.

Rolling out on all flights on 15 April 2015, the new one-piece uniform comes in two variations – aqua-blue for junior crew and a plum-red version for senior crew. Both variations of the uniform are accompanied by a dark blue skirt, creating deeper synergies with the image of SilkAir’s parent company, Singapore Airlines.

The interplay of bright and dark colours creates a classy appeal that pairs with a touch of vibrancy to reflect a youthful liveliness that customers can expect. At the same time, an asymmetric neckline gives a polished and refined look with a touch of modernity and style.

The latest uniform design marks SilkAir’s fourth uniform change over 26 years. The new uniform collection was created by local fashion designer, Alexandria Chen.
