Sarah McLachlan – Angel

Alone in my room, playing Sarah McLachlan’s Angel and drinking a bottle of Hoegaarden beer. Somehow, this seems very familiar. I seems to have done this before. In fact, seems to have done this many times. Same song, same beer and same mood. Why am I back here again?

My heart breaks everytime I see your twitter message. I don’t know why we reach this stage where we say angry words to upset each other. It’s just too painful to read your twitter messages.

Can see the direction that we are heading now. Seriously, I really don’t want to go there. I really don’t want. We put in so much effort into this relationship. Don’t you find it pitiful to let go just like that?

After failing in so many relationship, I guess the problem lies with me and not the gal. Perhaps it’s time for me to reflect upon myself.

Sarah McLachlan – Angel

Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay
There’s always one reason
To feel not good enough
And it’s hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Oh beautiful release
Memory seeps from my veins
Let me be empty
And weightless and maybe
I’ll find some peace tonight

In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there

So tired of the straight line
And everywhere you turn
There’s vultures and thieves at your back
And the storm keeps on twisting
You keep on building the lie
That you make up for all that you lack
It don’t make no difference
Escaping one last time
It’s easier to believe in this sweet madness oh
This glorious sadness that brings me to my knees

In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there
You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

  1. DK… I guess every relationship takes hard work and it takes two to clap wor. I always think that when one fails… it’s both parties’ fault and it simply means it’s not the right person. wait patiently for your true “her” to come along?

    Take care friend.

  2. don’t blame the failed relationship all to yourself. it’s the 2 of you in the relationship. maybe she’s not the right one for you..someday the right one will just knock on your door…Smile! everything will be alright my friend.

  3. DK, you need to try and forget this woman. I know it’s going to be hard to do, but you can do it. You can do anything you put your mind to. It’s going to take quite some time to get over all this hurt and anger.

It’s always been my experience that when you’re actively looking for someone especially when you’re lonely, you either find all the wrong people to date or attracting the wrong type of person.

Believe it or not, there is someone out there for everyone. It’s just a matter of time before you find her. Cheers!

    just my 2 cents
