Apple sold 5 million iPhone 5 in 3 days

Apple today announced that it has sold over five million of its new iPhone 5, just three days after its launch on 21 September 2012. iPhone 5 is currently available in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the UK. 22 more countries will be getting the iPhone 5 this coming Friday (28 September) and more than 100 countries by end of the year.

The iPhone 5 comes in either white & silver or black & slate, and is available in Singapore for a suggested retail price of S$948 for the 16GB model and S$1088 for the 32GB model and S$1238 for the 64GB model (Without contract).
Apple also announced that more than 100 million iOS devices have been updated with iOS 6.
Interestingly, Apple shares are down despite the impressive figures.
