Evernote hacked, issued service-wide password reset

You will be prompted to change your password the next time you login to your Evernote. The company issued a service wide password reset after discovering a coordinated attempt to access secure areas of the Evernote Service.
According to the Evernote blog post, Hackers gained access to user information which includes username, email address associated with the Evernote account and encrypted passwords.
There is no need to panic because all the passwords were hashed and salted. None of the content stored in Evernote were accessed, changed or lost. Payment information for Evernote Premium and Evernote Business are also safe.
You should know the drills by now. If you have another service using the same password, you should also change them too. Just to be safe….
