LinkedIn hits 1 million members in Singapore

LinkedIn announced recently that its membership base in Singapore has surpassed 1 million, almost doubling since 2011 when it established a presence in Singapore. Globally, the site attracts more than two new members every second, and has more than 200 million members worldwide.
With this milestone, LinkedIn is now home to about 70% of the country’s professional labor force and student population. Singapore is the forth country in Southeast Asia to surpassed the 1 million member mark on LinkedIn after Malaysia, Indonesia and The Philippines.
Leading C-suite professionals, senior executives and entrepreneurs in Singapore are also leveraging LinkedIn to boost their professional brand. Check out Singapore’s Power Profile list of top-viewed LinkedIn profiles in their industry.
