LINE urge users to change password

LINE is urging its users to change their password after more than 300 incidents of user accounts accessed by third-parties, including three that involved cash trades resulting in financial loss.
The unauthorised access occurred between late May and June 2014. However, LINE confirmed that the company has not been hacked. The accounts were hacked presumably after shared passwords with other online services were leaked somewhere else. So far, all the breaches occurred in Japan.
If you have an account with LINE, now is a good time for you to change your password. If you are using the same password on other account, it would be wise to change them too.
