My damage from SITEX 2014

Went down to SITEX 2014 at Expo last Saturday to do some tech shopping. Left with a big hole in my wallet.
I renewed my fibre broadband contract. Tech Shows like SITEX always have good deals for broadband connection. My 150 Mbps fibre broadband contract is over so I decided to sign up the Unlimited Fibre Broadband from SingTel. How could I resist super high speed and no bit throttling? The Unlimited Fibre Broadband is going at $54.90 per month.
On top of that, there is an option to top up $125 per month for 24 months to get a iMac 27 inch with 5K Retina display. I think it is about time I retire my 7 years old iMac. Besides, I get a saving of $388. Good deal.
I also bought the ASUS RT-AC87U router. Fast internet need a fast router. The usual price for the router is $399. I saw some booth selling the router at $379. But since I’m subscribing to the Unlimited Fibre plan, I get to purchase the ASUS RT-AC87U router at $299.
While walking around, I saw this interesting power block by thecoopidea. Four 2.4A USB port and one 1A USB port. Pretty useful for travel. Also good for my desk since I have many devices to charge. I got the 10.6A Power Block by thecoopidea at $71.
Last but not least, I bought a 32GB Toshiba FlashAir SD Card. I got a 8GB version lately as a door gift and fell in love with it. So I decide to buy a higher capacity one for my DSLR. The 32GB Toshiba FlashAir SD Card cost $69.

Looks like I’m going to eat grass for the rest of the month.
