Chingay 2015

The Chingay 2015 will be happening on 27 and 28 February at the F1 Pit. More than 11,000 colourful multi-cultural performers took part in this year’s Chingay. The theme for this year’s Chingay is “We Love SG” as we celebrate SG50.
Besides local performers, there are also foreign contingents from China (Gansu, Suzhou, Tianjin, Xinjiang), India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Rwanda, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam.
I managed to catch the Chingay 2015 few weeks ago during their rehearsal / NE Show. Here are some of the spectaculars you can expect from this year’s Chingay.

耍大旗. This may look easy but its actually very difficult taking in consideration the small space and the strong wind.

  1. Neo: Nope. Most of them are shot with my 70-200 f4. Some shots were using 24-70 f2.8.
This kind of event need telephoto lens cause I’m sitting kinda far from the action.
