We’ve seen many themed runs. But this run actually caught my attention. The You Only Live Once (YOLO) Run is a shirtless run to challenge participants to liberate themselves from their inner insecurities.
The YOLO Run is a 5km stretch that aims to celebrate individuality, diversity and the courage to live life with a pinch of excitement and a whole lot of audacity. The organisers aim to break into the Singapore Book of Records for the most number of shirtless runners at an event.
Now remember, it’s shirtless, not topless. Ladies are encouraged to race in their exclusive YOLO Run sports bra which comes with the race pack. Guys can run shirtless but it is not a must. At the end of the run, there will be a mass yoga session.
Partipants will receive race entitlements worth over a $100. This include Yolo Run Exclusive Race Tee, Yolo Run Race Bag, Yoga Mat, Yolo Run Exclusive Sports Bra for ladies and Yolo Run Exclusive Singlet for men.
The YOLO Run will take place on 22 November 2015, 8am at Gardens By The Bay. For more info and sign up, visit the website and Facebook page.

Facebook just launched 360 video. Starting from today, you might see some videos that allows you to change the angle you are viewing by dragging.
A cool example is an exclusive 360 experience from the upcoming movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Facebook 360 video will be available on the Web and Android version of Facebook soon. iOS will be available in the coming months.
360 video isn’t something new. YouTube already have this feature for quite some time. But it is good to see that Facebook is adopting 360 video too. Hopefully this will encourage the increase of 360 video. And let’s hope Facebook pages owners create their own 360 videos instead of stealing them from YouTube like they always do.

Remember the Game Convention GameStart? Well, the organisers has collaborated with Seow “Sonic” Zonghui, developer of Street Fighter VS MegaMan, to create its very own retro-styled game for this year’s event.
Featuring in-game cameos by personalities and other game franchises that will be at GameStart 2015, additional content and updates will be pushed out regularly leading up to the event on 13th to 15th November 2015.
Retro games fans will definitely love this. The pixel art-style side-scroller is reminiscent of popular games in this style from the late 1980s and early 1990s. Players fight their way though challenging stages with GameStart’s resident gamer girl, Alyse as they investigate a mysterious figure that has been sabotaging games and making them almost impossible to play. The gameplay is designed to be challenging, and players will unlock new, unique characters whose different powers present new ways to play.
The game is now available on Apple App Store and Google Play store.

The Haka is a revered Māori dance with origins dating back almost 200 years and was first performed before an international rugby match by the New Zealand native team in 1888. No other international sporting team possesses a pre-match ritual as powerful as the All Blacks Haka, expressing the passion, vigour and identity of Māori culture.
