Starbucks will be opening its Singapore flagship store, the largest in Singapore to date at the iconic Jewel Changi Airport. The store is officially due to open on 17 April 2019 but visitors to the Jewel Preview can have a sneak peek first.
Besides the exclusive local menu at the flagship store, the theme of craftsmanship runs strongly throughout the space along with the brand’s tribute to the coffee journey as seen from the duplex’s lush indoor landscaping, polished interiors and artisanal woodwork. The flagship store presents a third-wave of coffee offering familiar to Starbucks Reserve patrons, with a keen focus on quality artisanal coffee and the best of the brand’s Singapore repertoire. Inviting deeper coffee exploration and discovery at the Reserve Experience Bar, the store offers coffee made through manual brewing methods: Chemex, Pour Over, Siphon Brew and Coffee Press, which are all found at the Reserve Experience Bar, helmed by Starbucks coffee masters.
The bar also features the VA388 Black Eagle Espresso Machine, a familiar sight at the World Barista Championships. This allows the barista full control over the consistency and precision in every aspect of a coffee – from bean ratio to brewing time and water temperature – directly impacting the customer connection with each personalized cup.
As a final homage to Starbucks’ commitment to coffee education, the art room on the second level will also be used to host coffee seminars and other coffee related events for customers.
So do check out the new Starbuck Flagship store if you are visiting the new Jewel Changi Airport.

Starbucks Singapore just opened its first Starbucks Reserve Coffee Bar at United Square. The immersive coffee bar that brings customers closer to their coffee and Starbucks baristas. The United Square store also debuts the first Nitro Cold Brew on tap in Singapore.
The Nitro Cold Brew takes the existing Starbucks Cold Brew recipe to the next level, infusing it with nitrogen to unlock the super-smooth, natural sweetness of the coffee. Served from the tap, the Nitro Cold Brew’s velvety and creamy texture is deliciously cold and served unsweetened, without ice, to highlight the flavor the cold-brewing process brings out in the coffee.
I personally prefer the Nitro Cold Brew with Sweet Cream. And remember to take a moment to admire the coffee cascading down the side of the glass.
The United Square store also debuts the state-of-the-art Black Eagle espresso machine.
Starbucks Singapore just launched a limited edition Mason Jar.
You can get this beautiful Mason Jar at all Starbucks Singapore outlets for just S$5.90 with every Cold Brew purchased. Or separately at S$8.90.
If you haven’t tried the Starbucks Cold Brew, you should take this opportunity to try it. Brewed in small batches and steeped for more than 10 hours, the cold brewing process brings out the rich and balanced flavors for a smooth and refreshing iced coffee.
