Dyson just announced a new haircare product recently. The Dyson Corrale is a hair straightener which uses flexing plates to style hair. Suitable for all hair types, it features Dyson’s Intelligent Heat Control for precise temperatures.
Unlike traditional straighteners, the unique flexing plates of the Dyson Corrale straightener mould to shape and gather the hair, giving the user greater control and therefore elevating the styling results, whilst reducing the reliance on heat. As the plates adapt to the hair, they apply tension more evenly and stop strands splaying. This greater control allows outstanding styles to be created with less reliance on heat.
The Dyson Corrale straightener has three precise heat settings – 165°C, 185°C and 210°C. Using a platinum sensor, the temperature is measured 100 times a second to deliver precise, accurate heat.
And the best part about the Dyson Corrale is that it is cordless. The built-in 4-cell lithium-ion battery provides up to 30 minutes of styling and takes 70 minutes to fully charge. You can charge it by using the magnetic charging cable or placing in a charging dock.
We don’t have the Singapore launch date and pricing for the Dyson Corrale yet. I’ll update this blog when I get them.
If you own an Apple Watch, you might want to check out this Kickstarter campaign. The Maco Go is a small Apple Watch charger that is compatible with Gen 1 and Series 1 to 5 Apple Watch. (And it most likely will be compatible with future Apple Watch until Apple changes its charging mechanism.)
Just plug the Maco Go into a laptop, smartphone, iPad Pro, or powerbank to charge your Apple Watch. Simple. No long messy cables. Convenient to carry around.
The Maco Go is currently on Kickstarter at AU$22. (Approx S$19) The expected delivery date is July – August 2020. But the usual risk and challenges for Kickstarter campaign projects applies. So only back this project if you understand the risk of backing a Kickstarter project.
Linksys just launched the Velop MX5300 WiFi 6 Mesh system recently.
The Velop MX5300 WiFi 6 Mesh system contains three WiFi radios (one 2.4 GHz and two 5 GHz) to balance the wireless workload. User can expect 4x faster in speed with 4x increased WiFi capacity and covers 3,000 square feet per node. The new addition is also inbuilt with the next-generation technology that increases efficiency to deliver high-speed WiFi to multiple devices simultaneously.
The router also comes with BSS technology which eliminates interference from nearby networks. Great for those living in areas where there’s lots of WiFi network nearby.
The best part about the Velop MX5300 is that it is interoperable with the other Linksys Mesh Family (Velop Tri-Band, Velop Dual-Band, MR9000X and MR8300) as both the master and child node. This makes it easy for users to grow their WiFi network. And it looks almost like the Velop WiFi Mesh. Perfect for those with OCD.
The Velop MX5300 WiFi 6 Mesh system is now available at the recommended retail price of S$569 at selected Challenger stores and Hachi.tech Online exclusively for one month from 20 February 2020 onwards.
